About KEPT
KEPT makes menswear for the office and everything after it. One price, all year. Fabrics we name. Sizes with measurements. Nothing is listed until it has passed the same four checks.
Why we started
Most of a working wardrobe is bought in a hurry and disappoints slowly: a collar that gives up, a size that means something different in every shop, a price that is invented so it can be discounted. We wanted the opposite — a short list of pieces that hold their shape, described in numbers you can check.
The four checks
1. The fabric is named. We put the composition on the product page once the mill specification is in our file. If it is not there yet, the page says so rather than guessing.
2. The fit is measured. We measure the sample ourselves, per size, laid flat, in centimetres and inches. See the fit guide.
3. It is worn and washed. Ten washes the way you would do them at home, then we look at the collar, the seams and the colour. Where a piece has not been through the test yet, its page says so, and we make no claim about how it wears.
4. The price is the price. One price, all year. No codes, no countdowns, no invented original to cross out.
Our mark
A woven ivory label at the neck, a small bottle-green tab at the hem, and a care label that tells you the truth about washing. The mark beside the name is a collar stay — the small stiffener that keeps a collar standing. It is the whole idea of the brand in one shape.
How it arrives
An ivory box, tissue with the collar-stay mark, a bottle-green ribbon, a card, and a cotton dust bag for the pieces that need one. The same materials every time, so a repeat order looks like the first one.
What we will not do
No countdown timers, no “only a few left” without a stock count behind it, no reviews we did not receive, no press logos we have not earned. If we cannot show it, we do not say it.
